ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference released the players of the week for women's soccer Monday afternoon. Junior goalkeeper Taylor Kolinski (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Community College) was named the AMC Defensive Player of the Week for October 6th.

Kolinski recorded six saves in her shutout win against Hannibal-LaGrange this past Saturday. The win marked Kolinski's first as a Lady Hornet. Kolinksi made five of her six saves in the second half against Hannibal-LaGrange and two saves came after the Lady Hornets took a 1-0 lead and those two saves preserved the 1-0 lead.
