COLUMBIA, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 8-0 in game one and 13-0 in game two of the doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Columbia. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-17 on the season and 0-4 in American Midwest Conference play while the Cougars improve to 11-7 on the season and 2-0 in AMC play.
In game one, Cougars scored two runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and sixth innings. Junior outfielder
Juanesha Washington (St. Louis, Mo.) recorded a hit and a stolen base.
In game two, the Cougars score 10 runs in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth. Freshman catcher

Gracie Schmitte (San Diego, Calif./Mar Vista) and freshman infielder
Jadia Phillips (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) all recorded a hit and Washington added a stolen base.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Saturday, March 22nd at 12 and 2 pm at Stephens College.
