St. Louis, Mo. — Harris-Stowe State University is proud to announce the establishment of the Inaugural Harris-Stowe State University Athletic Hall of Fame, set to debut during the University's 169th year in 2026. The Athletic Hall of Fame will serve as a lasting tribute to the exceptional athletes, coaches, teams, and supporters whose achievements and contributions have shaped the proud tradition of Harris-Stowe State University Athletics.
The Athletic Hall of Fame is designed to celebrate excellence, preserve the University's athletic history, and honor individuals and teams who have represented Harris-Stowe State University with distinction both on and off the field. Induction into the Hall of Fame recognizes competitive success, leadership, character, and service to the University and its athletic programs.
Nominations are now being accepted for the inaugural class. Eligible nominees include former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, teams, and special supporters who meet the established selection criteria and have demonstrated exceptional achievement and meaningful contributions to Harris-Stowe State University Athletics.
A Hall of Fame Selection Committee composed of University leadership, athletic staff, faculty, alumni, and athletics administration representatives will review all submissions and select the inaugural class.
Nominations will be accepted through May 15, with selections made in June 2026. The Inaugural Harris-Stowe State University Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during Homecoming 2026, scheduled for October or early November.
Members of the Harris-Stowe State University community, alumni, and supporters are encouraged to participate in the nomination process.
