Rashandra Burnett enters her 4th season as the Head Coach of the Hornets Cheerleading program.
Burnett, a St. Louis, MO native, is currently a Youth Services Provider for the St. Louis Public Library. She is a graduate of St. Louis Public School District where she was a member of her high school cheerleading team at Gateway Institute of Technology. Following her time with high school cheerleading, Burnett cheered competitively at Wilberforce University, in Wilberforce , OH.
Burnett brings 6 years of coaching experience in competition and sideline cheerleading, tumbling, and dance. Her squads have always focused on promoting school spirit, practicing proper safety, and being present in the community.
She has served in a variety of roles including: Normandy High School (Head Cheer Coach), Normandy Middle School (Head Coach), and Royal Dynasty Dance Team (Co-Founder). She holds several safety certifications and often serves as a local tryout or competition judge.
Burnett earned her BA in Business Management from Wilberforce University and currently obtaining her MLS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
