ST. LOUIS – Antwan Campbell recorded a double-double to pace the Hornets in their contest against the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University.
Campbell tallied 21-points and 10-rebounds.
Riley Barnes added 17-points, six rebounds, two assists and one block.
Nigel Hightower tallied 10-points, five rebounds and three steals. Campbell went 3-3 from three-point range and 2-3 from the charity stripe.
Tabais Long and Jamar Joseph each tallied three assists, while Long also recorded two steals.
In the first half, Harris-Stowe entered the locker room down, 39-31. The Hornets were outpaced 41-35 in the second.
Harris-Stowe landed 24-52 field goals (46.2%) and 50 percent of their three-pointers (8-of-16). The Hornets scored well from the free-throw line, going 11-14 (78.6%).
