HANNIBAL, Mo. --- The Harris-Stowe men's basketball team fell short in their road contest against the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange University on Tuesday, 85-61.
During the opening half of the contest, the Hornets attacked, taking a slight 36-34 advantage into the locker rooms at halftime.
Jamarr Joseph paced Harris-Stowe with six points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal in the first 20 minutes.
Elmelik Martin Jr., tallied five points and two rebounds.
The second half proved to be a different story as, the Trojans outpaced the Hornets 51-25. Joseph completed the contest with 16-points, while Martin, Jr., added seven points, four rebounds and three assists.
Antwan Campbell and
Jhaylen Covington-Berry each added six points and four rebounds.
Harris-Stowe men's team will travel to Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to face Williams Baptist University on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 5:30 pm.
The series Hornets currently lead the all-time series against Williams Baptist, 12-12-1.
