ST. LOUIS – The Hornets of Harris-Stowe State University were 28-seconds from a shut-out over the Falcons of Kansas Christian College; however, the highlight was Filip Pavlovic's hat trick.
Pavlovic scored all three goals for the Hornets. The goals were recorded at 6:40, 27:56 and 46:02, with the first being assisted by Gabriel Rusitschka and the second by Massimo Kluever.
HSSU recorded 21 shots with three being on target. The Hornets used two goalies during the contest. Jelle Dik played the opening half and part of the second before Francisco Cerpa Cisn entered the game. Dik didn't face any shots and Cisn conceded one goal in the final seconds of the contest.
