ST. LOUIS – The Harris-Stowe State University women's soccer team traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois, to face the NCAA Division III Illinois College Lady Blues. The Hornets continued their hot streak as they cruised to a 3-0 win.
Mary Grace Angeli blazed in the contest, scoring two goals and assisting in the other. The first goal came under four minutes into the game (3:54). The second goal was a beauty as Angeli passed the ball to Rachael Manley at the 17:47 mark. Angeli scored the final goal at 47:01.
The Hornets fired off 24 shots with 13 being on target. Hornets goalie Ondrea Montgomery played the entire 90 minutes, recording two saves, as the Lady Blues were only able to record five shots with two being on target.
