ST. LOUIS – In the men's soccer contest against the Hannibal-LaGrange University Trojans, each team played a great defensive game, resulting in a 2-2 final score.
The first goal for the Hornets was a header by Tjorven Ole Bruns with the pass (corner kick) coming from Gabriel Rusitschka. The Trojans scored right before halftime when Simon Conrad sent a well-placed ball to Jaume Garcia.
After the break, neither team scored until after the 80th minute mark when the Trojan's Conrad stepped into the action to record a goal of his own. He was assisted by Mason McQueen. Refusing to concede, Harris-Stowe's Hubert Kopany scored to knot the contest at two. He was assisted by Juan Sebastain Moren.
Harris-Stowe landed three on target shots. Hornets goalie, Jelle Dik recorded two saves for the contest and conceded two goals.
