ST. LOUIS – The Harris-Stowe State University Hornets exerted dominance over the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College in the Emerson Performance Center in a non-conference matchup. HSSU put up 40-points in the opening 20 minutes and 57 after halftime. CRC was held to 30-points in the opening half and 54 in the second.
For the second game in a row, Alex Nunnally knocked down a double-double for the Hornets. He finished with 26-points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist. Patrick Evans and Joell Davis each tallied 14-points for Harris-Stowe. Evans also added four rebounds and two blocks, while Davis contributed two steals, one rebound and one assist. Taj Toney tallied 12-points, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal. Antwan Campbell also had a great game, finishing with 10-points, seven rebounds, three assists and one block.
The Hornets will be in action again on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00 pm in the Emerson Performance Center.
