ST. LOUIS - Alex Nunnally stepped up big for the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets during Saturday's contest versus Crowley's Ridge College with a double-double and more, which led to being selected as this week's AMC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.  He was selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from December 5 through December 11 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC and is now eligible for the NAIA Basketball Player of the Week award, which is announced on Tuesday.

He completed the contest with 26-points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist; shooting 72.7-percent (8-11) from the field and made 10 of 11 free throws.

Nunnally is a native of Washington, DC.
