ST. LOUIS – It's been a very busy month for Harris-Stowe State University's Sports Information Director. Since returning from the CoSIDA convention is Las Vegas, Scott has volunteered her time to several committees as well as taking a moment to participate in the CoSIDA 360 August 2022: The Life.

Scott stated, "After returning from CoSIDA, I knew I wanted to join a couple of the committees because it only seemed fitting because we can't sit back and just let a few carry the entire group."

Scott has volunteered for the CoSIDA U and Diversity and Inclusion Committees for CoSIDA and the Publications Committee under the NAIA-SIDA umbrella.

According to the website, The Life is a, "series surveying CoSIDA members for their thoughts on topics and issues in the athletic communications industry, plus personal insights into not-so-serious issues, too."

Featured along with Scott in the August issue was Kaho Akau (Linfield's Assistant SID), Steve Schoon (TCU's Director of Athletic Communications) and TJ Wengert (Lynchburg's Director of Digital Media). Everything was compiled by Barb Kowal, who serves as the CoSIDA Director of External Affairs and Professional Development.

"When answering the questions for The Life, it actually made me think harder than I anticipated. Some questions required more detail and consideration, whereas others were almost an afterthought," reflected Scott.
