Hornets Secure 1-0 Win Over Iowa Wesleyan

ST. LOUIS – The Hornets were able to battle through the heat to secure a 1-0 shutout over non-conference Iowa Wesleyan University.

The first 45-minutes were scoreless but it wasn't for lack of trying by the two teams. IWU recorded one shot in the first half while HSSU recorded seven. At 75:13 Gabriel Rusitshka scored the only goal of the contest.

Harris-Stowe landed five on target shots and Iowa Wesleyan tallied two.

Goalie, Jelle Dik played the entire 90-minutes for the Hornets and recorded two saves.
