ST. LOUIS – The Hornets women's soccer team continues to build momentum, picking up their first shut-out of the 2022 season. Harris-Stowe escaped the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Sara Pablos scored the only goal of the contest at the 20:02 mark of the opening half. There were several opportunities for scores but the goalies were able to deflect or capture the shot. Rachael Manley shot off six shots with three being on goal.

HSSU's goalkeeper recorded two saves while Mackenzie Frizzell recorded four saves for the Wildcats.

Harris-Stowe will host the College of Saint Mary of Nebraska on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Hornets Field.
