ATLANTA – The Harris-Stowe State University Men's and Women's Track and Field teams took part in the Clark Atlanta University Panthers Invitational on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Let's spring right into the results. In the men's 100m, Xavier Flemister took 12^th with a time of 11.34 while Richard McNary and Marcus Davis finished in 11.63 and 12.82 respectively. On the women's side, the Hornets finished back-to-back when Alicia Robinson and Shamari Long finished with times of 13.62 and 13.64.

Flemister took sixth in the 200m with a time of 22.70. McNary and Anthony Washington finished with a time of 23.58 and 24.74. Long finished with a time of 29.15 in the 200m. In the men's long jump Marcus Davis recorded a distance of 5.22m and Romel Nix, a 4.79. On the women's side, Alicia Robinson (4.79m) landed in 11^th place, Nyah Parker (4.71m) jumped into 14^th and Long (4.41m) earned 21^st.

Parker recorded a distance of 10.84m to take the bronze medal (3^rd).
