ST. LOUIS – Day one of the 2023 American Midwest Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships is in the books and the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State University left their mark.
Nyah Parker stands as the Women's Triple Jump Champion with a distance of 11.16. Nick Davis took his place on the podium with a distance of 13.18 for a second-place finish in the men's triple jump.
Alicia Robinson qualified for the 100m dash finals with a time of 13.19. Xavier Flemister (11.21) and Richard McNary (11.27) took first and second in the 100m dash semi-finals and will complete in the finals on Friday. Robinson also qualified in the 200m dash with a time of 26.71 for a third-place finish in the semi-finals. The 200m dash on the men's side saw the same results just slightly different times. Flemister (22.51) and McNary (22.93) concluded the semi-finals in first and second place.
