COLUMBIA, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's soccer falls at fourth seeded Columbia College by a final score of 4-0 on Wednesday night in the American Midwest Conference tournament quarterfinal. With the loss, the Hornets finish the season 6-7-5 while the Cougars improve to 11-3-4 and move on to the semifinals.
Senior forward
Janik Buch (Suederbrarup, Germany) would have a chance to put the Hornets up 1-0 in the eighth minute, but was turned away by the Cougars keeper. Just over a minute later the Cougars would find the back of the net to go up 1-0 in the ninth minute. In the 22ned minute, junior midfielder

Michael Brennan (Manchester, England/Neosho County Community College) would keep the score at 1-0 with a save in the 32nd minute. The Cougars would take a 1-0 lead into the half.
Buch would have another chance to get the Hornets on the board in the 53rd minute and would be turned away by the keeper. The Cougars would go up 2-0 in the 62nd minute. The Cougars would add a goal in the 74th and 79th minutes to go up for 4-0. Brennan would record three saves in the match.
The Cougars would hold a 17-7 advantage in shots, 7-3 in shots on goal and 12-1 in corner kicks.
