Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's soccer team opened the 2024 season with a 1-1 draw at NCAA Division II University of Missouri-St. Louis on Wednesday night at Don Dallas Soccer Field. The Hornets record goes to 0-0-1 on the season.
The Hornets and Tritons would play 70 scoreless minutes before junior midfielder
Casey Christou (London, England/Neosho County Community College) would take a pass from junior midfielder
Matteo Rissato Prado (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Carl Sandburg College) to give the Hornets a 1-0 lead in the 71st minute. Christou's goal was one of three shots for the Hornets and one of two shots on goal.

Michael Brennan (Manchester, England/Neosho County Community College) got the start for the Hornets and made three saves in net.
The Tritons would tie the game in the 89th minute with a goal from Michael Quinn. The Tritons would finish with a 10-3 advantage in shots and 12-0 in corner kicks.
The Hornets return to action on Saturday, August 24th at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. with kickoff slated for 12 pm central time.
