Box Score FENTON, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's soccer fell 3-1 to Central Methodist University at Fenton Soccer Park on Wednesday afternoon. The Hornets fall to 0-2-2 on the season while the Eagles improve to 4-0 on the season.

The Eagles would strike first in the ninth minute after a Hornets foul in the box led to a penalty kick for the Eagles. The Hornets would find the equalizer four minutes later. After earning a corner kick sophomore defender Leonardo El Ayache (Naples, Italy/University of Northwestern Ohio) would lay a perfect pass that was headed by freshman defender Nicholas Wingren (Palma, Mallorca, Spain/IES s'Arenal) that found junior midfielder Matteo Rissato Prado (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Carl Sandburg College) to tie the game at 1-1. 

The Eagles would regain the lead in the 43rd minute to take a 2-1 lead into the break. The Eagles would score in the 48th minute to go up 3-1.

The Eagles would hold a 15-7 advantage in shots and 10-2 shots on goal advantage as well as 4-3 in corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper Michael Brennan (Manchester, England/Neosho County Community College) would make seven saves in the match.

The Hornets are back in action this Saturday, September 7th at 3 pm against Oakland City University. Location is to be determined.
