Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University women's basketball falls 91-57 to Williams Baptist University on Thursday night at Emerson Performance Center. With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 3-14 on the season and 2-10 in American Midwest Conference play while the Lady Eagles improve to 15-3 on the season and 11-1 in AMC play.

Marchi Hunter (Menifee, Calif./Vista del Lago) cut the deficit to 6-4. A jumper from freshman guard
Alivia Montgomery (Little Rock, Ark./Little Rock Central) and a layup and a free throw from senior forward
Toree Jackson (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) tied the game at nine. The Lady Eagles went on a 7-0 run before Dilosa ended the run with a jumper. A jumper from Jackson cut the deficit to 18-13. A 4-0 run by the Lady Eagles pushed their lead to 22-13 after one quarter of play.
The Lady Eagles started the second quarter with an 8-0 run to push the lead to 30-13. A layup and free throw from senior guard
Lauryn Evans (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods) would cut the deficit to 30-16. A jumper from senior guard
Samara Swire (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) cut the Lady Eagles lead to 30-18. A jumper from Jackson cut the deficit to 33-20. Dilosa cut the deficit to 39-22 with a layup. A layup from senior forward
J'Lessa Jordan (St. Louis, Mo./Hazelwood Central) cut the deficit to 39-24 before the Lady Eagles held a 42-24 lead at halftime.
Jordan cut the deficit to 46-26 early in the third quarter. A 7-0 Lady Eagles run extended their lead to 53-26 before layups from Jordan and Jackson cut it to 53-30. A three from Evans cut the deficit to 59-34. Dilosa, Jordan and Evans would each record a made field goal to cut the deficit to 67-40 going into the fourth.
A jumper from Montgomery cut the deficit to 72-42. A jumper from Dilosa cut it to 72-44. Layups from Jordan and Dilosa cut the Lady Eagles lead to 76-48. A three from Dilosa cut the deficit to 81-53. The Lady Eagles would close out the game on a 10-4 run to win 91-57.
Dilosa led the way with 17 points, while Evans added 12 and Jordan and Jackson added 10 points each. Jackson recorded 10 rebounds on her way to her second double-double of the season. Swire and Montgomery each had two assists. Jordan and Jackson each had two blocks. Dilosa and Swire each had two steals.
The Lady Hornets went 26-77 (33.8%) from the field, 2-15 (13.3%)Â from three and 3-5 (60.0%) from the free throw line.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Saturday, January 25th at 1 pm at Emerson Performance Center against Crowleys Ridge.
