ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference released the names of the athletes of the week for women's soccer on Monday afternoon.

Junior goalkeeper Taylor Kolinski (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Community College) was named the AMC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Kolinksi won the award for the week of October 6th.

Kolinski recorded shut out wins over Stephens College and Central Baptist. She recorded two saves in the Stephens game to preserve a 1-0 win. 

On the season, Kolinski has made 38 saves and has posted a .745 save percentage in eight games while playing in goal for the Lady Hornets.
