FULTON, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's basketball fell 117-57 in the American Midwest Conference Tournament Quarterfinal to top-seeded and #9 nationally ranked William Woods on Thursday night at Anderson Arena. With the loss, the Hornets season comes to an end with an 8-19 record while the Owls improve to 26-2 and advance to the semi finals.

Bennie Amos III (New Orleans, La./Delgado Community College) cut the Owls lead to 18-13 with a three.

Justin Coleman (St. Louis, Mo./Delta State University) cut the deficit to 40-24. A layup by Chargois cut the deficit to 42-26. The Owls closed the first half on a 15-0 run to hold a 57-26 lead at halftime.

Jermarco Burse (Annapolis, Mo./Truman State University) cut the deficit to 85-35. Two free throws from Lampley cut the deficit to 87-37. A layup by Burse cut the deficit to 95-42. An 11-2 Owls run pushed their lead to 106-44. Two free throws from Burse cut the deficit to 106-46. The final 22 points would be split at 11 a piece as the Owls picked up the 117-57 win.
Chargois led the way with 20 points while Amos III added 11. Chargois led with six rebounds. Vigne and Chargois each had two assists. Chargois had three steals. Lampley recorded a block and a steal.
The Hornets went 18-64 (28.1%) from the field, 4-22 (18.2%) from three and 17-25 (68.0%) from the free throw line.
The Hornets will return to action in the fall for the 2025-26 season.
