ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 15-0 in game one and 17-0 in game two against Missouri Baptist on Thursday afternoon at Stars Park. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-37 on the season and 0-20 in American Midwest Conference play while the Spartans improve to 36-6 on the season and 18-2 in AMC play.
In game one, the Spartans scored 10 runs in the first, two in the third and fourth and one in the fifth. Senior outfielder
Lyric McGilberry (Orlando, Fla./St. Charles Community College) recorded a hit.
In game two, the Spartans scored eight in the first, seven in the third and two in the fourth.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Friday, April 18th at 1 and 3 pm against Hannibal-LaGrange at Stars Park. Tomorrow is senior day. Senior day festivites will take place at 12:40 pm.
