ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference named the Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon. Junior middle hitter Saniah Files (Joliet, Ill./Joliet West) was named AMC Defender of the Week for the week of September 22nd.

Across four matches last week Files recorded eight block solo amd 12 block assists for 14 total blocks. Files recorded three block solo's against Blackburn, one block solo and three block assists against Cottey, one block solo and two block assists against Central Baptist and three block solo and seven block assists against Mission.

Files also added in a career-high 12 kills at Blackburn.
