COLUMBIA, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 8-0 in both games to Columbia College on Sunday afternoon. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 2-16 on the season and 1-9 in American Midwest Conference play while the Cougars improve to 15-11 on the season and 5-3 in AMC play.

Game 1:
The Cougars would score one run in the first and second innings before scoring two more in the third and four more in the fourth. Junior second Rakiara Bogan (Cape Girardeau, Mo./Mineral Area College) had the lone hit for the Lady Hornets.

Game 2:
The Cougars scored three runs in the bottom of the first, four in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the sixth.

Bogan, junior utility player A'Kiayah Scales (St. Louis, Mo./Mineral Area College) and senior shortstop Juanesha Washington (St. Louis, Mo./Carnahan High School) all recorded one hit.

The Lady Hornets return to action on Friday, April 3rd at 1 and 3 pm at Stars Park against Central Baptist.
