ST. LOUIS – The Hornets of Harris-Stowe squared off with the Eutectics of the University of Health and Pharmacy in a tough road contest. Despite their speed and agility on the court, Harris-Stowe dropped the contest 88-74.
In the first half, the Hornets scored 35 points, while the Eutectics scored 40. In the second half, HSSU was out paced, 48-39.
Breon Mosby and
Antwan Campbell had impressive performances for Harris-Stowe. Both recorded double-doubles. Campbell landed 17-points, 11 rebounds and one block. Mosby tallied 17-points, 10 rebounds, one assist and one block.
Patrick Evans added nine points, two rebounds and one steal.
Riley Barnes paced the Hornets with eight points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
As a team, Harris-Stowe scored 44-points in the paint, 17-points off turnovers, 21 second chance points and 31 bench points.
The Hornets will return to action on Saturday, January 29
th at 3:00 pm at Missouri Baptist.
