ST. LOUIS – The Harris-Stowe volleyball team dropped a tough 3-1 road decision to the Stars of Stephens College.

Tonight's contest was a rough one for the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets as they fell 3-0 to the Cougars of Columbia College.
The Hornets were paced by Jayden Sortor with seven kills, Ariel Stroud with six and Ariyonna Johnson with four. Nyah Parker led the team with two aces, while Nickeal Clark and A'nia Ware each tallied one. Queen Patterson recorded one block.
Ware tallied 19 assists while Clark and Nyah Parker added two and one respectively. Clark completed the match with 10 digs, Ware added seven and Arneka McReynolds finished with six.
