HSSU Drops Opener at Blue Mountain College

ST. LOUIS – Women's basketball opened their 2022-23 campaign in Clue Mountain, Mississippi, against Blue Mountain College, falling 76-64.

Taia Smith paced the Hornets with a double-double, scoring 23-points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal. Destiney Amaefula tallied 19-points, six rebounds, three steals and one assist. Autumn Brown scored 10-points and four rebounds.

Hornets look to bounce back against Simmons College of Kentucky during Homecoming 2022.
