ST. LOUIS – The Hornets fell by 10 to Simmons College of Kentucky in one-half of the 2022 Harris-Stowe State University Homecoming.

Scoring was split between the two teams, as the Hornets were able to outscore the Lady Falcons in the first quarter and was a second away from claiming the third; however, an explosive second and fourth sealed the contest in Simmons' favor.
Kya Gordon did not lead the Hornets in scoring however she did manage to tallied a double-double with 11-points, 11 rebounds and was three assists (7) away from a triple-double. She also added three steals and two blocks. Alicia Robinson holds the honor of leading the team in scoring with 19-points and two rebounds. Taia Smith contributed nine points, five rebounds and two steals.
