FULTON, Mo. – The Harris-Stowe men's basketball team competed aggressively against the Owls of William Woods; however, they were unable to gain the upper hand, dropping the contest 70-51.
The opening half was almost evenly matched as William Woods held a slight advantage of 28-26, heading into the locker room. The second half proved to be all Owls as they dominated 42-25.
Jamarr Joseph emerged as the scoring leader for Harris-Stowe with 13-points and one rebound.
Patrick Evans scored eight-points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Breon Mosby pulled down six-rebounds to pace HSSU's defensive efforts.
Harris-Stowe will return to the Hornets' Nest to host Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday, February 8
th at 7:30 pm and Williams Baptist on Thursday, February 10
th at 7:30 pm.
