ST. LOUIS – The Harris-Stowe men's soccer team traveled to Elsah, Illinois, to face-off against the Panthers of Principia College. The Hornets fell 2-1.

Juan Moren stepped up and scored a phenomenal goal for Harris-Stowe on a pass from Leonardo Mori at 30:50.

E.G. Pierce scored the first goal for the Panthers on a penalty kick in the 65th minute. The final goal of the contest came when Wizzy Afrani scored with an assist from Leander Linsler. 

HSSU tallied 24 shots, with 14 being on target. Hornet's goalkeeper, Jelle Dik recorded one save.

The Hornets travel to Avila University on September 14th for a 1:00 pm contest, in Kansas City, Missouri.
