FULTON, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University women's volleyball fell in three sets (21-25,16-25,8-25) at Anderson Arena against William Woods University on Thursday night. With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 4-16 on the season and 0-5 in American Midwest Conference play while the Owls improve to 20-10 and 4-2 in AMC play.
The Lady Hornets would hold a 9-7 through 16 points in set one before the Owls cut the lead to 14-11. The Owls would use a 14-7 run to take set one. In set two, the would hold a 15-8 lead before closing out the set 25-16. In set three, the Owls would control the set holding a 17-4 lead before closing out on an 8-4 run.

Trinity Edison (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Central) each recorded four kills. Sophomore setter
Isa Smith (Little Rock, Ark./Joe T. Robinson) recorded nine assists. Sophomore outside hitter
Kyla McReynolds (O'Fallon, Ill./Althoff Catholic) recorded 11 digs in the match.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Friday, October 18th at 4 pm in Nevada, Mo. against Cottey College.
