NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Harris-Stowe State University baseball fell to Central Baptist College in two tough games. The Mustangs took game one 6-3 in seven and 12-5 in game two. The Hornets fall to 1-20 on the season and 0-11 in the American Midwest Conference while the Mustangs improve to 25-9 and 8-3 in the AMC.

Skywalker Mann (Lee Summit, Mo.) singled in junior third baseman
Tyson Dent (Memphis Tenn.) to tie the game at one. The Mustangs would take the lead with two runs in the fourth. In the top of the fifth Dent would tie the game at three with a double that scored junior outfielder
Dwayne Daggs (St. Louis, Mo.) and sophomore infielder Cameron Bratt (Anderson, Ind.). The Mustangs would score one in the fifth and two in the sixth.
The Hornets would score in the top of the first of game two with a sacrifice fly by Dent that scored junior shortstop
Austin Martin (Roxana, Ill.). The Mustangs would tie the game in the bottom of the first and take the lead with four in the second.
In the third, the Hornets would score two runs as Daggs scored on a wild pitch and Mann would drive in Dent with a single to left to cut the lead to 5-3. The Mustangs would score two runs in the third and fourth, one in the fifth and two more in sixth to take a 12-3 lead.
Dent would drive in senior outfielder
Xavier Fuller (Memphis, Tenn./Middle College) in the seventh to cut the lead to 12-4. Pratt would single in junior outfielder
Za'Maree Tillman (Bakersfield, Calif.) to cut the Mustangs lead to 12-5.
The Hornets conclude the series with the Mustangs on Sunday, April 7th with first pitch at 2 pm.
