Men's Soccer Earns 1-1 Draw Against Lincoln

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's soccer earns a 1-1 draw against Lincoln University on Friday night. The Hornets are now 1-3-3 on the season while the Blue Tigers are 1-0-1 on the season.

The Blue Tigers would take a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the game. Junior goalkeeper Michael Brennan (Manchester, England/Neosho County Community College) would make three saves over the next 12 minutes to keep the score 1-0. 

Junior midfielder Leonardo Mori (Castel d'Azzano, Italy/Liceo Galileo Galilei) would tie the game in the 43rd minute after the ball was loose in the box.

The Blue Tigers would hold a 13-6 advantage in shots, 4-3 advantage in shots on goal and 8-1 in corner kicks.

The Hornets return to action on Wednesday, September 18th against Webster University at Fenton Soccer Park at 6 pm.
