Mori's Goal Leads Hornets to 1-0 Road Win Against Webster

FENTON, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University men's soccer picked up a 1-0 road win against Webster University at Fenton Soccer Park on Wednesday night. With the win, the Hornets improve to 2-3-3 on the season while the Gorloks fall to 3-4 on the season.

The Hornets would apply pressure throughout the first half creating numerous scoring chances throughout the half. Junior midfielder Leonardo Mori (Castel d'Azzano, Italy/Liceo Galileo Galilei) would take a crossing pass from sophomore defender Leonardo El Ayache (Naples, Italy/University of Northwestern Ohio) and bury the shot to give the Hornets a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute.

The Hornets defense would hold strong in the second half against the pressure from the Gorloks to hold the lead in the final 45 minutes. The Hornets defense held the Gorloks to zero shots on goal in the match.
