ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University women's basketball fell 82-45 on Thursday night to Lincoln University of Missouri at Emerson Performance Center. With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 0-5 on the season while the Blue Tigers improve to 2-2.

Alivia Montgomery (Little Rock, Ark./Little Rock Central) cut the Blue Tigers lead to 3-2. A three by senior guard
Cailynn Dilosa (Gary, Ind./Merriville) tied the game at five. A long jumper by senior forward
J'Lessa Jordan (St. Louis, Mo./Hazelwood Central) tied the game at seven. A jumper by senior
Jayla Dixon cut the deficit to 10-9. A layup by Montgomery cut the deficit to 13-12. A layup by senior forward
Marchi Hunter (Menifee, Calif./Vista del Lago) cut the deficit to 19-14. The Blue Tigers would carry the 19-14 lead into the second quarter.
A layup by Dilosa cut the deficit to to 23-16 early in the second quarter. A jumper and free throw by Montgomery cut the deficit to 31-19. A 10-0 run by the Blue Tigers pushed their lead to 41-19. A layup by Montgomery trimmed the Blue Tigers lead to 41-21. The Blue Tigers took a 44-21 lead into halftime.
A layup by Jordan trimmed the Blue Tigers lead to 44-23 early in the third quarter. A jumper by Jordan cut the deficit to 46-25. A layup by Dilosa cut the deficit to 48-27. A 9-0 Blue Tigers run was ended when Dilosa hit a three to cut the deficit to 57-30. The Blue Tigers held a 60-30 lead after three quarters.
Two free throws by sophomore guard
Jayla Jackson (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) and a three from Dilosa cut the deficit to 62-35. A layup by Jordan cut the deficit to 64-37. Back-to-back threes by Dilosa cut the deficit to 73-43. Two free throws by Montgomery cut the deficit to 74-45. The Blue Tigers would score the final eight points of the game.
Dilosa led the way with 20 points while Montgomery added 11. Dixon, Dilosa and Jordan all recorded five rebounds. Montgomery and Jordan had two assists and two steals apiece. Jordan led the way with three blocks.
The Lady Hornets went 16-45 (35.6%) from the field, 5-14 (35.7%) from three and 8-17 (47.1%) from the free throw line.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Monday, November 24th at 5:30 pm against Simmons College of Kentucky at Emerson Performance Center.
