ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 30-0 in game one and 12-0 in game two against Cottey College at Stars Park on Sunday afternoon. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-31 on the season and 0-16 in American Midwest Conference play while the Comets improve to 19-19 on the season and 9-7 in AMC play.
In game one, the Comets scored four runs in the first, 11 in the second, two in the third, nine in the fourth and four in the fifth. Freshman catcher

Jadia Phillips (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) each recorded a hit.
In game two, the Comets scored one in the first, four in the second, two in the fourth and five in the sixth. Senior outfielder

Michaela Thomas (Fort Pierce, Fla./Fort Pierce Westwood Academy) each recorded a hit.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Monday, April 14th at 2 and 4 pm against Crowley's Ridge College at Stars Park.
