Lady Hornets Softball Falls at Home to Williams Baptist

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 11-0 in game one and 27-0 in game two of the doubleheader to Williams Baptist University at Stars Park on Monday afternoon. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-25 on the season and 0-12 in American Midwest Conference play while the Lady Eagles improve to 22-10 on the season and 6-4 in AMC play.

In game one, the Lady Eagles scored four runs in the first, two in the third and five in the fifth. Senior outfielder Morgan Nettles (St. Louis, Mo./Clayton) and junior outfielder Juanesha Washington (St. Louis, Mo./Carnahan) both recorded a hit.

In game two, the Lady Eagles scored four runs in the first, eight in the second, 10 in the third and five in the fourth. Seniour outfielder Talluah Nemet-Sargent (Wellington, New Zealand/Mississippi Valley State) and freshman infielder Nichelle Davis (St. Louis, Mo./Jennings) both recorded a hit.

The Lady Hornets return to action on  Wednesday, April 9th at 1 and 3 pm against Rust College at Stars Park.
