ST. LOUIS – It has been an exciting week for the Harris-Stowe State University volleyball team and it has not stopped yet.

Jayden Sortor earned Attacker of the Week. Sortor, a junior from Sherman, Illinois, helped lead the Hornets to 2-0 for the week. She put up 22 kills in 36 attacks for a phenomenal .556. Not done by far, Sortor also tallied seven assists and four digs.

A'Nia Ware nabbed Setter of the Week. She hails from Snyder, Texas. Ware racked up 45 assists for Harris-Stowe, with 35 coming from their victory over Blackburn. Ware also affed six digs and four blocks, proving herself as a versatile player.
