SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2025-26 AMC Men's Basketball season awards, All-Conference Teams, Champions of Character Team and Academic All-Conference Team.
Freshman forward
Nashawn Davis (St. Louis, Mo./Columbia College) was named All-Conference Third Team. Davis averaged 18.1 points per game on 54.1% shooting from the floor and 5.1 rebounds. Davis also averaged 2.1 steals and assists per game.
Sophomore guard
Jason Freeman (Atlanta, Ga./William Woods University) was the Hornets selection to the Champions of Character team which includes one player from each school, selected by their coach and teammates as the individual who best exemplifies the Five Core Values of the NAIA Champions of Character® Initiative – Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership.
The Hornets had six members named Academic All-Conference and they include: sophomore guard
Antonio Trotter (Nashville, Tenn./Williams Baptist University), senior forward
Benjamin Rumanyika (Buckeye, Ariz./Voorhees University), junior center
Dimitrije Stojanovic (Nis, Serbia/Bethel University), senior center
Greg Wilson (Kansas City, Kan./Voorhees University), senior guard
Kevin Jones (Sikeston, Mo./Dakota State University), and senior forward
Ty Lampley (Belleville, Ill./Rend Lake Community College).
