ST. LOUIS, Mo. — 1 April 2026 — Harris-Stowe State University Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Rick Antinori as the new Head Baseball Coach for the Hornets baseball program.
Coach Antinori brings more than two decades of experience in coaching, athletic administration, and academic instruction, along with a proven championship pedigree and a commitment to student-athlete development.
Most recently, Antinori served as Vice President of Baseball/Softball Operations for Power Prospects USA, where he oversaw all aspects of player development and training while guiding student-athletes through the collegiate recruiting process. His leadership helped position countless athletes for success at the next level.
Antinori's on-field success is highlighted by his tenure as Head Coach at Clark State Community College, where he engineered one of the most significant turnarounds in program history. In his first season, he led the team to its first 30-win season and conference championship, earning OCCAC Region XII Coach of the Year honors. Under his leadership, the program achieved three consecutive playoff appearances—another program first—while developing a Player of the Year, a Pitcher of the Year, and helping 34 student-athletes successfully transfer to four-year institutions.
Beyond his coaching accomplishments, Antinori is a dedicated educator and leader. Since 2021, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at Franklin University, teaching courses in Sports Management and Exercise Science, including Leadership in Sports, Coaching Methodologies, and Sports Administration. His commitment to education reflects a holistic coaching philosophy centered on developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
In addition, Antinori founded Titan Total Fitness, where he designed innovative training programs and facilities that have helped athletes advance to Major League Baseball development camps. His expertise in strategic planning, recruiting, and fundraising—where he increased efforts by over 200% through community engagement—positions him to lead the Hornets baseball program into a new era of success.
"After an accelerated search process that yielded 46 candidates for the head baseball coaching position, Coach Antinori distinguished himself with his vision, experience, and ability to connect with our student-athletes," said Dr. Nathan Cochran, Director of Athletics. "We are very excited to welcome Coach Antinori and his family to the Hornet community."
Coach Antinori will begin his role immediately and will focus on recruiting, player development, and building a competitive, disciplined, and character-driven program that reflects the values of Harris-Stowe State University.
