ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University womens' track and field competed at the Billiken Invitational on Friday afternoon that was concluded on Saturday morning.
Freshman throwerÂ
Taryn Gragg recorded a throw of 32.36 meters (106-2) in the hammer throw. Freshman thrower
Damajee Brown recorded a personal best throw of 20.45 meters (67-1) in the discus and a throw of 34.16 meters (112-0) in the hammer throw.
Senior sprinter/thrower
Shamari Long (Chicago, Ill.) placed 12th in the javelin with a throw of 27.85 meters (89-8) and placed 15th in the 100 meters with a time of 13.60. Sophomore sprinter
Alicia Robinson (Grand Rapids, Mich.) placed 8th in the 100 meters with a time of 13.00 and 9th in the 200 meters with a time of 26.67.
The Hornets are back in action next Friday at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.
