ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University women's track and field team competed at the rain shortened Billiken Alumni Meet hosted by Saint Louis University on Saturday.

Freshman thrower Saniya Thomas recorded a new personal best in the hammer throw with a throw of 37.58 meters (123-3). Thomas also recorded a throw of 19.14 meters (62-9) in the javelin.

Senior thrower Damajee Brown finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 43.62 meters (143-1).

Senior thrower Shamari Long (Chicago, Ill.) recorded a throw of 25.20 meters (82-8) in the javelin.

The Lady Hornets return to action on Friday, April 11th at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo. starting at 12 pm.
