SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University women's track and field team competed at the MoState Twilight Meet hosted by Missouri State on Thursday.
Junior sprinter
Alicia Robinson (Grand Rapids, Mich.) finished third in the 200 meters with a time of 25.04 seconds. Robinson also finished sixth in the 100 in 12.36 seconds and fourth in the long jump with a jump of 5.06 meters (16-7.25).
Senior thrower
Damajee Brown finished second in the hammer throw with a throw of 41.27 meters (135-5). Brown also recorded a throw of 24.39 meters (80-0) in the discus.
Senior sprinter and thrower
Shamari Long (Chicago, Ill.) recorded a throw of 33.12 meters (108-8) in the javelin.
The Lady Hornets will have to wait and see if anyone qualifies for NAIA Nationals which will take place May 21st-24th.
