ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference released the names of the athletes of the week on Monday afternoon. 

Senior thrower Damajee Brown was named the AMC women's field athlete of the week. Brown recorded a throw of 41.06 meters (134-8) to finish second in the hammer throw. She recorded a new personal best in the shot put with a throw of 7.56 meters (24-9.75). Brown also recorded a throw of 22.87 meters (75-0) in the discus.

This is the third time Brown has been named AMC women's field athlete of the week as she was named field athlete of the week on March 17th and March 31st
