ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference released the names of the athletes of the week on Monday afternoon. 

Senior thrower Damajee Brown was named the AMC women's field athlete of the week. Brown recorded a new personal best in the hammer throw with a throw of 44.81 meters (147-0) which bested her old record of 43.72 meters (143-5). Brown finished second at the SLU Speed and Power Festival on Friday and fourth in the hammer on Saturday at the Billiken Invite.

This is the second time Brown has been named AMC women's field athlete of the week as she was named field athlete of the week on March 17th.
