Box Score 2 ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 20-0 in game one and 12-0 in game two to William Woods on Saturday afternoon at Stars Park. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-29 on the season and 0-14 in American Midwest Conference play while the Owls improve to 19-14 on the season and 9-3 in AMC play.
In game one, the Owls scored runs in the first, 10 in the second, three in the third and one in the fourth. Freshman infielder
Jadia Phillips (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) recorded a hit in the game.
In game two, the Owls scored eight runs in the first and four in the fifth. Phillips, junior outfielder
Juanesha Washington (St. Louis, Mo./Carnahan) and freshman catcher
Jaden Crenshaw (Killeen, Texas/Robert M. Shoemaker) all recorded a hit in game two of the doubleheader.
The Lady Hornets return to action on Sunday, April 13th at 1 and 3 pm at Stars Park against Cottey College.
