Huff Named to Champions of Character Team, 11 Named Academic All-Conference for Softball

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference announced the members of the All-Conference teams, the Champions of Character team and the Academic All-Conference members for softball on Monday evening.

Freshman catcher Brianna Huff (Columbus, Ohio/Private Tree of Life Christian College Preparatory) was the Lady Hornets selection for the Champions of Character team, which recognizes those individuals who best exemplify the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

Huff, senior infielder Christal Smith (Jacksonville, Fla./Terry Parker), senior outfielder Morgan Nettles (St. Louis, Mo./Clayton), sophomore infielder Gracie Schmitte (San Diego, Calif./Mar Vista), junior outfielder Juanesha Washington (St. Louis, Mo./Carnahan), senior outfielder Lyric McGilberry (Orlando, Fla./St. Charles Community College), senior outfielder Naliya Anderson (St. Louis, Mo./Hazelwood Central), freshman infielder Nichelle Davis (St. Louis, Mo./Jennings), senior outfielder Tallulah Nemet-Sargent (Wellington, New Zealand/Mississppi Valley State), freshman outfielder Jehirah Williams (St. Louis, Mo./Althoff Catholic) and freshman infielder Michaela Thomas (Fort Pierce, Fla./Fort Pierce Westwood Academy) were named to the Academic All-Conference team.
