ELSAH, Ill. - Harris-Stowe State University women's track and field team competed at the Prin Relays hosted by Principia College on Friday and Saturday.

Freshman sprinter Tijaria Anthony recorded a time of 8.26 in the 60-meters and 27.58 in the 200-meters. Anthony also recorded a personal-best in the long jump with a leap of 4.73 (15-6.25) meters.

Freshman sprinter Amyla recorded a time of 51.32 in the 300-meters and a time of 1:40.11 in the 500-meters.

Freshman thrower Shyla Reid recorded a throw of 11.40 (37-5) in the weight throw. Reid also recorded a throw of 9.60 (31-6) in the shot put.

Freshman sprinter Ja'Princia McDonald recorded a time of 8.66 in the 60-meters. McDonald completed the 200-meters in a time of 28.76.

Freshman thrower Danielle Powells recorded a throw of 6.62 (21-8.75) in the shot put.

Sophomore sprinter Emma Auer (Kindberg, Austria/HIB Liebenau) recorded three personal-bests. Auer recorded a time of 9.11 in the 60-meters and 31.29 in the 200-meters. Auer also recorded a leap of 4.12 (13-6.25) meters in the long jump.

Freshman sprinter Nyla Richardson-Myles recorded a personal-best in the 200-meters with a time of 30.16 and tied her personal-best in the 60 with a time of 9.07.

Freshman thrower Syain Washington recorded a throw of 8.16 (26-9.25) meters in the weight throw.

Freshman sprinter Sherasade Meghezi (Paris, France) recorded a personal-best in the 60 with a time of 8.79. Meghezi ran a 30.50 in the 200-meters. Meghezi recorded a leap of 4.17 (13-8.25) in the long jump.

The team of Anthony, Richardson-Myles, McDonald and Auer ran a time of 1:55.88 in the 4x200.

The Lady Hornets return to action on Saturday, February 7th at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill. at 10 am.
