Box Score 1 BRANSON, Mo. - Harris-Stowe State University softball fell 6-0 in game one to Doane University and 11-3 in game two to Dakota State University on Tuesday afternoon in Branson at the Stars & Stripes Spring Break Tournament. With the losses, the Lady Hornets fall to 1-5 on the season.
Game 1:
The Tigers would score two runs in the second to take a 2-0 lead into the third. In the third inning the Tigers would add on two more runs to hold a 4-0 lead after three innings of play. The Tigers would score two more in the bottom of the sixth to hold a 6-0 lead. Junior outfielder

A'Kiayah Scales (St. Louis, Mo./Mineral Area College) and sophomore infielder
Jaida Phillips (Saint Ann, Mo./Pattonville High School) all recorded a hit.
Game 2:
The Trojans would score seven runs in the top of the first, one in the second and three in the third to hold an 11-0 lead going into the bottom of the third.Â
Junior second baseman
Rakiara Bogan (Cape Girardeau, Mo./Mineral Area College) singled with one out in the bottom of the third, Senior outfielder
Noemi Tudon (Houston, Texas/Waldorf University) singled. Daniels singled to center to score Bogan. A sacrifice fly from Scales scored Tudon to cut the deficit to 11-2.Â
In the bottom of the fourth, sophomore catcher
Brianna Huff (Columbus, Ohio/Private Tree of Life Christian College Preparatory High School) singled. Huff would move to second on a sacrifice bunt. Huff would steal third and home to cut the deficit to 11-3.Â
Bogan had two hits while Tudon, Scales, Huff, Phillips and junior pitcher
Symone Abraham (Decatur, Ill./Livingstone College) all recorded one hit. Daniels and Scales both had a run batted in. Bogan, Tudon and Huff all scored a run.
The Lady Hornets are back in action on March 11th at 12:30 pm against Missouri Valley and 2:30 pm against Doane for day two of the Stars & Stripes Spring Break Tournament.
